Karsten Wendland is professor for Technical Communication and Information Development at Hochschule Aalen, Germany. He is also member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Social Informatics, Bielefeld, member of the Board of Directors of Integrata Foundation, Tübingen, and member of the Supervisory Board of effective WEBWORK GmbH, Hamburg. Currently, Karsten Wendland is Associated Researcher at the Chair of Information Systems IV - Enterprise Systems (ERIS) at  University of Mannheim.
